Good Quality Good Price

I bought this sweater after reading the New Times recent review of cashmere sweaters. The cashmere is soft and silky. The quality for the price is very good. I haven’t worn it yet so I can’t comment on pilling. The purple color is as shown online. The purple is actually magenta and rich in color. The Original Cashmere Crewneck Sweater is a relaxed fit giving it a slightly casual look. I did try to size down for a more fitted sweater but the next size down was too short. I also ordered the Peacock which is a beautiful jewel toned deep blue green as shown online. The Seafoam is not as pictured. It appears light blue online but is actually a true seafoam-soft greenish blue. I am 63.5″ and 120 lbs. I tried the the small and x-small. The small fit best; loose but a good length. The x-small was a more feminine fit but still fit well in the shoulders and arm length but too short in the torso. I recommend the NAADAM Women’s Original Cashmere Crewneck sweater. Much better quality than Charter Club or this year’s Landsend women’s long sleeved crewneck.

Naadam's 98.09 cashmere sweater

The fit was nice and true to size and a nice weight; however, the sweater has an itchy feel to the skin. It feels more like a wool than cashmere. Returned it for this reason. Cashmere should feel soft against the skin.

Disappointed

This sweater has multiple faults IMO. The fabric does not feel like cashmere nor does it look like cashmere. It is coarse in texture. The neckline seam and trim are more like a sweatshirt. I selected the pale green color. The item I received was an unusual – and unattractive – shade of grayish green. It resembled a $20 sweater not a $100.
