   Super wide & blisters by lunch

   I am a teacher and on my feet all day so just about every pair of shoes I have are Dansko. I am a loyal purchaser and LOVE their shoes. Usually. These, however, were NOT IT. They do run wider than the normal ones. Too wide for me. Might be a perk for others. But my biggest complaint is the comfort is NOT there for these being Dansko brand. First, there is NO give when you take a step. They don’t bend at all. Completely stiff. I have never run into that before with Danskos so that took me off guard. Second, I had two blisters on each foot before lunch. One on top of one of my toes and one at the base of my big toe where the material just rubbed it raw. I know it was the first time wearing them, but it was so bad that I don’t even want to give this pair another try.

   The fit is divine

   This is my second pair–and I don’t even like white-ish shoes! The arch support is so nice, I can wear them all day without discomfort. I like that they’re summery but my toes don’t show. I saw yesterday that they’re discounted-buy them!

   VERY cute but.......

   I love the look of these shoes! I have other Dansko shoes that are great for my feet, but these are very different. I have been wearing them around the house for weeks; trying to decide whether to keep them and I have finally made the decision to keep them; the price was reduced. Thank you Amazon for making this possible.

   Outside of being cute/flattering on the feet here are the negatives. The footbed is very hard which is ok; but my feet had to adjust to it over time. The sides of my feet hurt where they meet the curve of the leather. But that again has improved over time. Also, my big toe feels a bit irritated as it rubs the footbed over time.

   They are NOT out of the box comfortable, and I fear that if I don’t wear them regularly it will be like starting over again. But I will keep them and hope for the best. Wearing with a trouser sock might help to stretch them enough that they would work better on bare feet.

   I would love to know the rationale from Dansko behind this very differently constructed shoe.

   I would not recommend this shoe for any kind of long range walking; best for office or short walking/standing time intervals.

   Would love to see a similar styled shoe, but with a different footbed and maybe material on the upper.

   Too heavy

   I LOVE Dansko clogs & have several. I was excited that these were on sale & were a little dresser. They don’t fit the same way other Dansko products fit. The shoe was very heavy. Very sad because they are beautiful.

   Most uncomfortable shoes ever

   Wore these around the house a bit and thought I could break them in but they are awful. There feels like the arch support is too stiff. Terrible to walk in, worst Dansko shoes I’ve ever wore
