The 80's are Back!Tretorns! My older sister owned many pairs in the 80’s and I always wanted a pair but my parents didn’t buy them for me. When I was looking for a new casual pair to wear with jeans, Tretorns brand crept into my head.
Thankful Amazon sells them. True to size. Comfortable and just the way I remember. Lightweight and slip resistant. I am happy with the purchase.

My TRETORN tennis 🎾 shoes have long lasting durability, style and comfort.As a teen thru my twenties I ALWAYS wore TRETORN canvas tennis shoes.i had them in every color. I wore them constantly then and 40 years later I still wear them constantly. They last forever and are like wearing bedrm. Slippers all day. I ADORE THEM THEN AND STILL DO 40+ YRS. LATER. Taking me back to the 90s and I love itThese are so cute and stylish! Very comfy too!! It takes me back to the 90s! I feel like I could walk all day in a theme park with these on and be completely comfy! They run a little big – so I’d size down one. Or a half size. Very fun and retro!

NOT the same shoesI used to wear Tretorns all the time in the ’80s. About 10 years ago I found a pair online and got them even though they were gray with silver swoops. Loved them too. I decided to get some white ones from Amazon – and they are very disappointingly much lower quality. I can compare to my 10-year old shoes as I still have them. These new ones run larger (longer) (even though they’re the same size), feel cheaper, the tongue is coming off where it is attached in one shoe (which grates the top of that foot) and they come up higher on the foot than the old style so they look clunkier. Returning them. They’re just uncomfortable and ugly. New Tretorn needs to go the way of New Coke.

Nothing like the original TretornsI’m happy I purchased the new without tags version for $30, instead of the brand new ones for $70. They look new, with no signs of being worn. They run a tad on the small side. Overall, I’m disappointed in the purchase. Tretorns originated in Sweden, these are from china and lack the comfort, molded fit and arch support that the originals had.
