“Snow Globe” is…blue? Not white?

The blouse itself is a nice material and classic design, but the “Snow Globe” color is not the crisp white it appears on my screen. Since it had “snow” in the title, I (apparently foolishly) assumed that this assumption was correct. In reality, it is a fairly vivid light blue with just a touch of gray.

I did not take the blouse out of the package, so please forgive the glare from the plastic wrapping; however, I did my best to capture the actual color next to a white piece of paper for the sake of comparison.

If you’re looking for a decidedly light blue blouse, you’ll probably be very happy with this. If you’re looking for a white blouse, however, you should look elsewhere—and keep hoping that clothing companies stop trying to be clever with their colors names and just call it what it is.

Very sheer

I’m giving this a 3 because the fit was a bit off. It was tight in odd places which made it uncomfortable. The material was also rough, not soft against the skin and not flowy as expected. The color was accurate to the photos. It is very sheer and requires an undershirt, but you can see that in some of the listing and I do not knock off points for qualities that were advertised even if undesirable.

Comfortable and light weight

This is an incredibly comfortable and lightweight blouse. It’s fairly flattering without looking too baggy. I’ve washed it three times so far and it still looks great.

Very pretty and true to size

I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try a bright yellow blouse. This is a beautiful blouse and I love everything about it. It fits very well and is true to size. It’s a lovely shade of yellow. I would recommend this blouse.

I own a number of Adrianna Papell pieces, all beautifully constructed. This blouse is no exception. The stitching is even and consistent, and it washes easily. It’s very lightweight and airy, without being see-through, and that’s appreciated in the 90+ degree weather we’ve been having this summer. I chose the sage color and it’s a lovely, muted shade – just what I was hoping for.
