Perfect gardening shoesI do a lot of landscaping and gardening work and was looking for something supportive like sneakers, water resistant like boots, lightweight like wearing sandals and easy to get on and off. I searched a lot, used AI to get suggestions, and finally landed on these sneakers. They’re expensive but I’ve had Dansko dress shoes I loved, and thought they’d fill the bill. I was right – they are perfect. I keep them at the back door so I can easily slip them on – they’re actually very comfortable even barefoot. The bungee/toggle is great because I can set the tightness and they don’t untie – if my feet get hot or swollen, I can loosen them right up and keep truckin’. I’ve spilled water on them and my feet stay dry, and the treads are very light so I don’t track a lot of dirt. That said, they’re super contoured and lightweight and have a nice grippy sole. I believe they’re machine washable, so when they get totally disgusting I can give them new life. Yesterday I wore these for 9 hours on my feet hauling mulch and weeding and combined with a pair of light weight ankle socks with some compression, my feet never hurt all day which is a miracle. I didn’t even need to break them in first – just went right out the door and they were perfect for this use. And if i want to take a walk without changing my footwear, they’re ready to go. Good stuff.

Great SneakerThis is my second pair of these sneakers. LOVE them. Color is perfect for wearing with denim. FIt is right on and the support is great. Walked all over England and the cobblestones gave me no problem. Supports your foot and is light enough that you don’t end up with sweaty feet!

Great for plantar fasciitis!My first thought when I tried these on was that they felt amazing! I have plantar fasciitis and the comfort was wonderful! But then I took my dogs for a walk and by the time I got home my toes were numb and tingly and burning. I had not experienced this before. I read a few reviews about people saying that if the shoes were too tight, that would cause that problem. So I meticulously loosened the bungee laces all the way as far as I possibly could and slid my foot back in. The difference was amazing! The shoes were not too narrow, they were just way too tight! Loosening those bungee laces is not easy! But it is well worth the effort!

The Best!I am so very happy with these new shoes. Fit is perfect, support is great plus they are super cute. Best tennis type shoes I have had in years. Wore them all day the first day without any issues, great from the start. Highly recommend, you won’t go wrong. I am typically a 6.5 to 7 and the 37 fits perfect, enough room in the toe box and overall great.

Like them but......I normally wear a size 7 so I ordered the 6 1/2-7 wide. They fit perfectly and I don’t feel they’re all that wide. After having them on for a few minutes I noticed the tongue on the right foot was digging into my Arch on top and it hurt. Upon further inspection I noticed the tongue was ripped and it made a very hard spot. I return the same day I received them and ordered another pair from a different vendor.
They are comfortable but I’m going to put my own inserts as there’s not any arch support

Best brand for high archesI think Dansko makes the best brand of shoes, period! I have high arches and a hard time finding a pair of shoes to stand and walk in, even finding proper arch supportsis difficult (Superfeet are great). I’ve tried custom orthotics, but got injured with a bad fit. Then serendipitously, I was given a pair of Dansko’s by my boss at the time and it changed my life. They fit perfectly with the first wear, hitting my arch in exactly the right place. What a relief! They are expensive, but I save up look for the rare sale and buy a new pair every chance I get. I now own 5 pairs in different styles and colors.
Be aware that this this Henriette style, fits a little more narrowly than others through the widest part of the front, but I suspect it will ease with wear. If it came in a wide it would probably be just right, even though I don’t nirmally wear a wide. Otherwise it’s a nice pair to slip on without having to tie laces and such. My favorite is Charlie, which is now hard to find. I will be forever grateful for my first pair of Dansko’s and hope to try other styles that aren’t sneakers. Weirdly, though others swear by them, the clogs that Dansko is famous for, don’t fit me – Go figure!

Pinching/cutting skinI am typically an avid dansko fan! However, this shoe is the worst thing I’ve ever worn. The arch support is lacking. The “tongue” hurts all the time even after loosening. These were delivered to me on May 27th, and it’s now July 19th. I wear these for clinical shifts. Where the shoe bends, it’s pinching my skin even through thick socks. One side of my foot is cut and the other is forming a blood blister from pinching. I continued used after the first cut thinking it must’ve been a bite. However, this second blister will have me not wearing them again. Shame, because dansko brand has always been my favorite and they’re cute…

Very comfortable & good lookingThese are my second purchase of Dansko sneakers. They are my constant go-to foot wear especially touring on vacation. I don’t know how many miles I have on the original pair bought in 2019 which I still wear. I don’t like a deeply ridged sole that picks up dirt and these are perfect. They are comfortable & adjustable and look a bit nicer. I have some foot trouble, these shoes have nice support & good toe room. So happy to have found them on Amazon. Yes, you can get less expensive shoes, but Dansko are a nurse’s choice for a reason.
