I'm a Spanx fanaticI use these daily. So I keep five in rotation at all times. They are very light weight. You can’t see the lines through clothing, which is a super plus with spandex clothing.
The only reason they loose a star from me is the lack of sturdiness. I wear nails (medium oval shape) and the Spanx tear easily and I have had to put more money into Spanx than I should.

Not as durable.Not worth the price. But maybe mines was broken when the delivery driver flung it at my window from the parking lot. These are pretty much trash. Never recieved a refund even though amazon worker damaged the product.

It does the job, but definitely single useAfter reading the reviews I knew what I was getting. I got this to wear with my white wedding outfit but I knew other buyers had problems with it ripping, so I didn’t even try it on before the day (I had a backup plan). Here is my experience:
Pros:
– it does the job well, offer decent compression and shaping without rolling down at all. I was pretty impressed by how well it held over my ribs, while most other options I tried rolled right down.
– it’s quite comfortable for what it is. I didn’t feel like it was hard to breathe or anything.
– fit was true to size. Just a little bit tight and hard to put in but that’s kinda the the point
– it did not show at all. No seams visible on the side or anything. Looked great.
Cons:
– it ripped off when I first put it on. Huge rips from top to bottom, in both the front and back. And it wasn’t even in the stocking part as I expected, but actually in the top, shape-wear area. As you can see in the photos, the lines marked in red are not the seams, but rather two huge tears that I got by just putting them on. I was extremely careful with my nails but just by stretching it I immediately heard the rip. Bear in mind it was not super tight, I wasn’t looking for a lot of tummy control or anything but just wanted to not have pantie lines.
Bottom line, I don’t regret getting them as I only needed it for one special occasion. However, given that it’s something that is meant to hold some compression and considering the price, I do believe it should not rip by simply putting it on.

Did not pinch skin like most shapewearHeld up extremely well through two important events. A bit of a wiggle to get on, but once up and adjusted, relatively comfortable; at least the fabric didn’t pinch the skin like most other shapewear.

Worked out!Purchased to wear under a silky dress that was static clingy to my legs. This helped with that! They were a little long. I’m 5’7 and they came down to my ankles and the dress was around the same length, so I just folded the ends up and still worked.

BY FAR THE BEST SHAPER...VERY SLIMMINGThis is the most affordable shaper from the SPANX range as far as I’m concerned (£28+). I first tried the SPANX range in the USA, and have to result to an occassional EBAY or AMAZON posting to get it in the UK due to only the extremely larger sizes making their way into the English market. I find the shapers that begin at the waist create a muffin top like effect, so I really love that this one goes all the way up over the stomach creating a very smoothing effect. I don’t like the shapers that end at mid thigh since they create a visual effect with jeans that I definitely do not like. This is the perfect solution. I have purchased the SPANX full body shaper (£150+) and I definitely think this has more control and is the best option for me. High quality and lasts a very long time. I buy several every time I go back to the US.
