Ruck Rover General Store is a boutique in Mt Lawley, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Opening in October 2006, the shop is owned and operated by sisters Claire Trolio and Isabelle Trolio.
They are primarily a clothing store, selling threads for men, women and babies, but they also stock jewellery, bags, wallets, scarves, stationery, books, zines, homewares and Polaroid film. The labels they stock are small, independent ones of a high quality and that are unique but remain at a fair price point. Most of their labels are exclusive to them in Perth and often Australia.
In November 2008 Ruck Rover launched the online aspect of their store at http://shop.ruckrover.com.au so they now ship their wares worldwide.
They also produce some of their own items including womenswear, menswear, scarves, bags and stationery. They have a wholesale line planned for early to mid 2010 which will feature printed tee shirts, homewares and cards.
Ruck Rover General Store have announced they will be hosting a small gallery space inside the store beginning May 2010. It is called Mini Art Mart in keeping with the general store theme.
