About

For the 19th year, Ophélie Renouard, the founder and organizer of le Bal des Débutantes, unites the Haute Couture and Couture houses, Adler the jeweller of the ball since 2006, and the Débutantes and their cavaliers for a magical evening at the Hotel de Crillon, on November 26th.

The purpose of the ball is to raise funds for charity: the Feed Foundation, a humanitarian charity to help fight hunger and malnutrition around the world. The Feed Foundation was started in 2008 by Lauren Bush, who made her début in 2000 at le Bal des Débutantes.

This international event is the only French Débutante ball. It opens with the presentation of the young ladies in the arms of their cavaliers, followed by a dinner and the ball itself.

Each Débutante wears a dress from an Haute Couture or Couture House, and all are adorned with jewellery by Adler. For their fittings prior to the event, they are driven in Infiniti cars.

Once again, the Debutantes hail from exceptional families with diverse backgrounds from thirteen countries, including the United States, Switzerland, Italy, India, China, Thailand, and Japan. They range from 16 to 21 years old and are accompanied by their chosen cavaliers.

The debutantes' makeup will be done by MAC Cosmetics and their hair by Alexandre de Paris.
