Catherine McNeil

McNeil was born in Brisbane, Australia, on March 20 1989. At the age of 14, she won Girlfriend magazine's national model search and is currently signed to Chic Management in Sydney. She is currently in a relationship with male model, Miles Langford.

McNeil has appeared on numerous runways since her career peaked in 2007. She has featured in advertising campaigns for designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, DKNY, Dior, Herm├Ęs and John Paul Gaultier. She has graced the covers of Vogue Australia, Vogue Paris and V among others. She has also been photographed for the Pirelli calendar. Her runway profile extends over several years where she has walked for the likes of YSL, Balenciaga, Christian Dior, Fendi and also opened Givenchy in her breakthrough year.

Between 2010 and 2012, she took a break from modelling as she "wasn't enjoying it anymore." In an interview with Australian Vogue, she explains that the hiatus was a result of continually modelling since the age of 13 and needing some time out. She "didn't pick up a fashion magazine for a year and a half" and resided in London to live life like a normal twenty-something woman.

She made her "comeback" by appearing on the November 2012 issue of Vogue Australia, photographed by Benny Horne. She has since been in hot demand from designers and publications alike, remerging for the 2012/13 Haute Couture and Fall/Winter 2013 shows.
