About
Brad Goreski is an Canadian stylist, who formerly worked as Rachel Zoe's fashion[2] assistant, he was with Rachel Zoe since 2008.[3][4] Brad left Rachel Zoe inc on October 1st, [5]2010 to forge his solo styling career. His client list already includes Jessica Alba,Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore, Kim Kardashian[6] Shay Mitchell[7] Christian Slater[8] and women's wear label, Kate Spade.[9] Rumors were rife that the split was due to Rachel's jealousy of Brad attending as many fashion events as her during New York Fashion Week and his New York Times style section cover.[10][11]
The stylist is known for his dapper way of dressing, often including bow ties[12] and bright suits within his daywear.[13]
It was confirmed in March 2011, that Brad would start filming his own television show for Bravo TV[14], aptly named "It's a Brad Brad World". It has been revealed that the show will delve more into Brad's personal life as well as styling career.[15][16][17][18][19][20] He has said that he struggled with forming his own celebrity client base, as people saw him as an assistant and didn't know him for his own style.[21]
Brad is set to release a book, "Born to be Brad" in February.[22]
The stylist's interest in fashion began at the age of 12, when he picked up his first Voguemagazine. After moving to Los Angeles from Canada, he studied Art History at the University of Southern California, later receiving internships at Vogue and W magazines in New York.[23] Upon graduation, Brad was hired as the West Coast assistant at Vogue magazine. [24]
Kate Spade
Brad announced on January 2nd 2012 that he will be working as the exclusive brand stylist for Kate Spade in New York.[25] The two-year contract will see Goreski work alongside creative director Deborah Lloyd[26] to style press events, fashion presentations, ad campaigns and website styling.[27] He will also collaborate with the brand in social media efforts.[28]
