A short history…
The collective Les joailliers du dimanche was created by jewellery enthusiasts who wished to organise exhibits/sales in order to showcase their work as well as those of local jewellers. In 2009, Andree Anne Vien (andree anne!) along with Carolyne Aubin (Quényne) organised the very first exhibit/sale with Martine Lauzier (martinana) and Marie Khediguian (MarKhed Design). Many jewellery quickly joined following events, among which were Louise Koo (louise koo), Claudia Gravel (Métal en bouche), Émilie Trudel, Jessica Godin, Tracy Gartner (trink) and we continue to gain new participants!
Mandate
Les joailliers du dimanche sees itself as an open collective of amateurs and professionals, that organises jewellery exhibits/sales. The group is ever-changing; its members vary and grow with each event. The collective has become not only an excellent means of discovering work by local contemporary jewelers but also of acquiring a piece to cherish for a lifetime!
